BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University women's soccer will look for its second consecutive victory when Louisiana comes to town on Thursday night for a non-conference tilt.

- The Owls dispatched Texas A&M – Corpus Christi on Sunday afternoon by a 3-0 final
- Sloane Young (first), Drew Dempsey (first), and Elin Simonardottir (third) provided the goals while Molly Setsma, Morgan McDonald, Olivia Bori, and Kayla Siddiqi contributed assists
- The Owls may be a little extra fresh on Thursday after using 23 different players on Sunday, resting most of their starters for the majority of the second half
- FAU has won six of its last seven matches at the FAU Soccer Stadium dating back to last season
- Louisiana has wins over USF, Grambling, and Stephen F. Austin – all shutouts
- The last goal UL conceded was in the season-opening 1-1 draw with Middle Tennessee
- Sophomore midfielder Sisley Stephens leads UL with two goals
- The Ragin Cajuns were 3-9-5 in 2022 for a fifth place finish in the Sun Belt West Division
- FAU and UL have met eight times but not since 2012 – the sides have split the eight meetings 4-4
- The Owls won the last meeting 2-1 on October 14, 2012 in Boca
- The Owls will make the short trip to Orlando for a matchup with UCF on Sunday night
