Two Owls Earn Career Opportunity

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Two Florida Atlantic University Owls have earned an opportunity to extend their playing careers. N'Kosi Perry and Brendan Bordner have been extended an opportunity to attend minicamps where they hope to gain an NFL spot.
Perry, who is the only Owl quarterback to be responsible for a touchdown in every game played, will travel to Chicago for his chance. Perry represented FAU in 24 games, completed 425 of the 717 passes attempted for 5,483 yards and 45 touchdowns as opposed to just 12 INTs. He also added 408 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns to his career totals. At season's end, Perry was named All-C-USA Third Team by PFF.
Bordner, who played just one season at FAU and started every game in 2022 at left tackle, will participate in the Indianapolis Colts' minicamp. His play and practice dedication were praised by FAU's staff. The Bordner-led line enabled FAU to average 411.8 yards per game and 47 scores. Bordner was a Second Team All-C-USA selection as voted by the C-USA head coaches.
While Florida Atlantic thanks the duo and wishes Perry and Bordner all the best, the returning Owls will focus on final exams and graduation this week.
