BOCA RATON, Fla. – EA SPORTS has announced Florida Atlantic football's top 10 player ratings for the upcoming College Football 27 video game, with a blend of newcomers and returners. To select your 2026 players and compete as an Owl, join the Athletic Department at the third annual EA SPORTS Launch Party, set for 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, in the University Center's eSports Arena.
The first 100 attendees will receive a custom game case with a special edition cover featuring wide receiver Easton Messer, defensive back Derrick Rogers, and defensive lineman CJ Doggette Jr. One lucky case will contain the code for a free game. Selected Owls will be on site to display their game skills in person. Come match your skills against those in the game.
Messer is the highest-rated Owl in the game at a 90 overall, with fellow receivers Dominique Henry (82), Kelby Valsin (80), and RJ Garcia II (79) rounding out the pass-catching unit. Center Vincent Fiacable is just behind Messer at an 85. Quarterback Caden Veltkamp carries an 81 rating. On the defensive side, Doggette Jr. leads the way with an 81, followed by edge rusher Jay Crable (80) and cornerback Damarius McGhee (79). Kicker Collin Rogers also begins the season rated 81.
The event is open to all Florida Atlantic students with a valid student ID.
