Singletary Selected to CUSA Hall of Fame

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Former Florida Atlantic football player and current NFL running back Devin Singletary has been inducted to the Conference USA Hall of Fame's Class of 2026, as announced by the league on Wednesday.
With the honor, Singletary becomes the university's first student-athlete selected to the CUSA Hall of Fame. Former Florida Atlantic Head Softball Coach Joan Joyce entered in 2022.
In just three years (2016-18), the running back was one of the most impactful players in both Florida Atlantic and conference history, leading the Owls to a championship in '17.
That 2017 campaign was historic in many ways, with Singletary becoming Florida Atlantic's first AP All-American and winning the CUSA MVP. He totaled 33 touchdowns, third most in a single season in NCAA history, to go with 2,118 all-purpose yards.
Singletary finished his collegiate career with 4,280 yards and 66 rushing touchdowns, both most in Florida Atlantic history. His 67 total touchdowns are ranked No. 1 all-time among CUSA players.
On the all-time leaderboard, Singletary's career rushing touchdowns rank as the seventh most in collegiate football history and are the most among any running back who played only three seasons.
After three years with Florida Atlantic, Singletary's career continued professionally in the NFL. A third-round draft pick in 2019, he spent four seasons as the starting running back for the Buffalo Bills before a career-best 2023 with the Houston Texans. Singletary has spent the last two years with the New York Giants and has amassed 4,923 rushing yards and 33 total touchdowns over his seven-year career.
