BOCA RATON, Fla. – The No. 59 ranked Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team fought to the end before falling 4-3 to No. 41 UTSA, on Saturday afternoon.

Alberto Colas captured his singles court with a 6-3, 6-0, win to even the Conference USA semifinal at 1-1. The Roadrunners took the lead a second time with a win on court five but moments later the match was tied at 2-2 thanks to a victory by Hunter Robbins. The Owls grabbed their first lead of the match courtesy of a Kevin Huempfner win on court two.

With doubles out of the way and four of the six doubles courts decided, attention turned to courts three and four, both already into their third sets. UTSA evened the match at 3-3 with a 4-6, 6-2, 7-5 win on court three and took the match with a win on court four.

The Owls bid farewell to a group of seniors that raised the program's bar by earning and holding a national ranking each of the seasons they have represented FAU.
