- Letizia Bagnoli will enter this week as the defending champion after running away from the field for a seven-shot victory in 2022.
- The native of Florence, Italy has a win and a runner-up in her four spring events this season.
- After finishing runner-up at last season's Tallahassee Regional, Bagnoli became the first FAU women's golfer to qualify for the NCAA Division I National Championship in 2022.
- Clemence Cadeac will be in the Owls' number two spot this week.
- In first season in Boca Raton, Cadeac has been the Owls' most consistent performer – she's finished outside the Top 25 one time in nine events dating back to the fall.
- Junior Olivia Bergner enters her third C-USA Championship. She tied for 26th last season and comes into this week with a 76.80 scoring average in 2022-23.
- Rosa Barnak tied for 12th at the 2022 C-USA Championship. The fifth-year senior will be competing in this event for the fourth time.
- Blanka Decker will be in the Owls' fifth spot. The German opened with 75 (+3) in last season's event before eventually finishing 46th.
- The Owls recorded a tie for third at last year's C-USA Championship, staged on the same course.
- Bagnoli, the 2022 C-USA Women's Golfer of the Year, opened with a 70 (-2) last season in what turned out to be the lowest round of the tournament by three shots.
- PGA National showed its teeth in last year's final round. The average score for the 59 players who completed the third day was 83.56 – nearly four shots higher than the first two rounds.
- Florida Atlantic is No. 166 in the Golf Stat Team Rankings.
- North Texas is the highest ranked team in the field at No. 35.
- UNT's Audrey Tan is the highest individually ranked player in the field at No. 71.
- This will be the final Conference USA Championship for Florida Atlantic women's golf before they make the move to the American Athletic Conference (AAC) in the fall.
