BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University softball team (21-12 overall and 3-3 in C-USA) will travel to Murfreesboro, Tennessee this weekend, where they will face Middle Tennessee (23-8 overall and 4-2 C-USA) for a three-game series slated for Friday, March 31 at 7 p.m. and then at 2 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
The three-game set will be the third of the year for the Owls and the second on the road. FAU was 2-1 playing at UAB. The Owls are 35-14 all-time versus the Blue Raiders and were the 8-2 victors in the last meeting back on April 23, 2022.
Cammeo Presutti has had a phenomenal March and enters the weekend with a team leading .360 average. Senior 
Sara Berthiaume is the only other Owl hitting above .300, entering the weekend hitting .338. The Owls have a total of eight homers on the year, with 
Olivia Peterson and Reilly Ennis accounting for six, three each. Peterson has added eight doubles, first baseman 
Zoey Jones has eight and freshman third baseman 
Jesiana Mora has been credited with seven. In the circle, a staff of five has been carrying the load. Sophomore 
Gabby Sacco will enter the circle with an 11-3 record and a 1.38 ERA. Senior 
Lynn Gardner has led the Owls to seven victories as opposed to four losses, while Ashley Lambert is 3-3 on the year. Both Gardner and Lambert have saved two games each. The team will enter the series with a 2.21 ERA.
