SUNSET, S.C. – After nearly three weeks off, Florida Atlantic University women's golf will compete in the Clemson Invitational beginning Friday in Sunset, S.C.
Â
This event will mark the fourth tournament of the spring season for the Owls. Head coach Heather Young has added one event, the Harvard Invitational in Osprey, Fla., to the schedule prior to the Conference USA Championship beginning April 13 in nearby Palm Beach Gardens.
Â
The Reserve at Lake Keowee is this week's host course. The par-72, 6,386 yard track sits about 30 minutes north of Clemson's main campus on a private 3200 acre property. It was designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 2002.
Â
The field this week will act as a proverbial National Championship preview 16 teams, 14 of which are ranked in the Top 70 and 80 individuals, five of which are inside the Top 25.
