BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's track & field team hits the road for their second weekend of the 2023 outdoor season.

This time, the team will be split off into two meets: distance runner
Madlen Kappeler will represent the Owls at the Raleigh Relays hosted by N.C. State on Thursday, while sprinters will head to Miami to compete in the UM Hurricane Collegiate Invitational.

FAU opened up their outdoor season at the UCF Invitational.
- Jessica Lambert picked up right where she left off from her legendary indoor season, winning the 800m with a time of 2:09.68, fourth all time in FAU history
- Anabell Reumann crushed the school record in the 2000m steeplechase (6:59.39)
- Dahlia Barnes' long jump mark of 5.55 is good for ninth in Florida Atlantic historyÂ
- Jessica Lambert: 1st in 800m (2:09.68), 7th in 400m hurdles (1:05.67)
- Holly Arrison: 2nd in 5000m (19:00.22)
- Elyssa Toal: 3rd in 800m (2:17.38), 14th in 1500m (4:48.69)
- Jordan Stevens: 5th in 800m (2:19.55), 11th in 1500m (4:45.63)
- Rosa Ten Berg: 7th in 800m (2:21.09)
- Cara Simpson: 9th in 100m (11.99), 9th in 200m (24.91)
- Eriana Teague: 9th in 400m (57.76)
- Leah Helms: 10th in 800m (2:23.05), 19th in 1500m (4:52.34)
- Adrianna Mier: 12th in 800m (2:23.78)
- Paige Saiz: 13th in 800m (2:24.62), 20th in 1500m (4:52.94)
- Melissa Mundell: 16th in 200m (25.85), 16th in 400m (59.59)
- Keysha-Lynn Jean-Mary: 18th in 100m (12.54)

Though this weekend will be a showcase for the sprinters, the full distance squad will be back in action to compete in the VertKlasse Meet in High Point N.C., to be held Mar. 31
