Owls to Begin Outdoor Season

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's track & field team returns to action after a record-setting indoor season, this time for the outdoor portion. The Owls head to Orlando to compete in the UCF Black and Gold Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
This will be the closing stretch for FAU competing in Conference USA, as they are set to move to the American Athletic Conference beginning with the 2023 fall cross country season.

Last Time Out
FAU last competed in outdoor track & field at the 2022 Conference USA Championships.
- Jessica Lambert won the bronze medal in the 800m finals (2:09.31)
- Cara Simpson placed in fifth in the 100m finals (11.71)
- The 4x400 relay team (Beyonce Green, Lambert, Simpson, Eriana Teague) tallied a sixth place finish with a time of 3:47.91
Upcoming
This marks the first of seven outdoor meets scheduled for the Owls in 2023. Next on the schedule is the NC State Raleigh Relays with Madlen Kappeler participating. The full squad will be on hand to participate at the UM Hurricane Collegiate Invitational in Miami on March 25.Owls on Social Media
