Knoxville, Tenn./Dallas – The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swimming and diving teams concluded their historic week at their respective conference championships on Saturday.

For the third straight year, the men's squad finished as runners-up in the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association championships with 795 points. Over the four-day meet, they earned three gold medals, eight silver medals, four bronze medals, and set 10 FAU records.
Brandon Shepherd was named Most Outstanding Diver of the Meet for his wins in both the 1-meter and 3-meter.

On the women's side, they wrapped up their first ever American Athletic Conference championship in seventh place with 573 points, earning three bronze medals.

CCSA Championships (Men)
- Logan Thornsberry finished in second place in the 1650 free (15:31.42)
- Dalton Lillibridge set an FAU record in the prelims for the second day in a row, this time in the 200 breast (1:58.21)
- Hussein won the bronze in the 100 free (44.02)
- The team closed their championship by setting an FAU record in the 400 free relay. Thornsberry, Jackson Kirk, Hussein, and Alec Peckmann finished in second place with a time of 2:56.28. The Owls set a school record in every relay they competed in over the course of the meetÂ
AAC Championships (Women)
- Amelia Robertson saved her best for last in the 200 back finals, winning the bronze medal and setting the freshman record in the process with a time of 1:58.66. This marks the first ever podium placement for an FAU swimmer in the American Athletic Conference era
- Riley Trout also made the 200 back finals, finishing in eighth place (2:01.37)
- Molly Jordan finished in 14th place in the 200 fly finals (2:03.57)
- The 400 free relay team (Lydia Lanahan, Jacqueline Grabowksi, Maggie Casey, Julia Earnshaw) earned a season best time at 3:23.25 to finish in sixth place

This concludes the season for the Florida Atlantic Owls swim & dive team. The NCAA swimming & diving championships will occur from March 15 – March 22.
