BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lucca Pignaton has committed to stay in "Paradise" by inking to play collegiate tennis for Florida Atlantic University. Pignaton will join the men's team in the fall of 2024, announced by the Owls' Director of Tennis
Ricardo Gonzalez.

"I'm super excited to have Lucca on board," said Gonzalez. "Not only am I impressed with his potential to keep improving, but most importantly I have been impressed with him as a person. He carries the values that we are looking for in our recruits and I can't wait to get to work with him. Lucca's future is bright.
The native of Brazil, who now resides in Boca Raton, climbed as high as No. 466 as an ITF junior with 20 victories. He captured the ITF J5 Bayamon doubles champions as well as the Tegucigalpa championship. He was also a doubles champion at the ITF J60 was an ITF J100 doubles finalist. In singles play, Pignaton was an ITF J60 Ever, Daytona, Trinidad and Tobago singles semifinalist.
