Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Tom Herman, a proven winner, will lead the Florida Atlantic Owls in the American Conference in 2023.

The Owls return standouts Armani-Eli Adams and Evan Anderson on defense while the offense will be led by running back Larry McCammon, the first back to tally 1,000 yards since Devin “Motor” Singletary did so in 2018. McCammon will be joined by receivers that promise to flash in Herman's offense. In fact, the running back room will return 87.5% of its 2022 production. The ground game will compliment a receiving room that returns 75.8% of its production. Both will be led by a new quarterback, who will have all the tools necessary to usher the Owls in the the AAC.

This season, FAU Stadium will play host to Tulane, who ended 2022 ranked No. 9 in the final AP poll, UTSA ranked much of 2022 and who received votes in the final poll as well as East Carolina and others.
