JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University track & field team completed day one out of two of the UNF Invitational on Friday. The event was highlighted by multiple top 10 finishes by the Owls and included a top three time in school history.

- Madlen Kappeler dominated in the 1500m run invite, finishing with a time of 17:18.98 for sixth place in the event. This time is good for fourth in school history
- Casey O'Connor had yet another excellent showing, finishing in 10th place out of 52 runners in the 1500m (4:42.53)
- Alexis Hill finished with the seventh best time in school history in the 3000m steeplechase (11:57.07)
- Cara Simpson's time of 25.08 was the best among the Owls in the 200m
