HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The No. 10th ranked (1) Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball team (22-9) saw its nine-game winning streak snapped, as the Owls fell to (3) No. 15 Georgia State in the Conference USA Championship Semifinals. FAU was up 2-0 in the match, but fell in courts three, four and five, as the Panthers went on to win. The Owls will move to the loser bracket and play (2) FIU at 10 a.m. ET for a chance to advance to the championship title game.
