GAINESEVILLE, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University track & field team finished their weekend competing at the Tom Jones Memorial Meet at the University of Florida on Saturday. The Owls competed in five events on the final day, bookended by the 4x100 and 4x400 relays. They also competed in the 800m, 400m, and 100m runs. The team is now in the home stretch of the regular season.

- Jessica Lambert had one of the best 800m runs in program history, with her time of 2:10.78 being the fourth best in school history. She finished in 21st place out of 44 runners
- Melissa Mundell led the way for a trio of Owls running in the 400m with a time of 58.52
- Cara Simpson finished in 36th place in the 100m (12.01). Abraiya Elam also has a new personal best in the 100m with a time of 12.26
- The Owls tallied times of 47.25 and 3:46.77 in the 4x100 and 4x400 relays, respectively

The Owls have next weekend off. They will return to the road to compete in their final regular season meet, the UNF Invitational, in Jacksonville April 29-30. The C-USA Championships will follow May 12-15th.
