FAU Wins in First Match in Cali

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team is using its Spring Break to take advantage of the opportunity to play three California opponents. On Sunday, the Owls defeated Santa Clara University 5-2 to open the three-match trip with a win.
The win moves the Owls' record to 9-1 on the year and to 5-1 away from Paradise.
"Another great win today against a very good Santa Clara team, who came out fired up and ready for a battle. I'm happy with the way we finished, but we need to do a better job starting the match with a sense of urgency. Shout out to Fin [Stodder] and Nico [Nicolas Jadoun] for a strong performance in singles play. Tomorrow will be another difficult challenge and our team needs to be prepared."
