BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's track & field team hits the road this weekend to participate in two different meets. The distance runners will travel to North Carolina to compete at the High Point Invitational on Friday. On Saturday, select Owls will participate in the 4x100 and 4x400 relays in the Pepsi Florida Relays at the University of Florida.

- Last Saturday saw the Owls compete at the Miami Hurricane Collegiate Invitational. For the second week in a row, the duo of Kaitlyn Kirby and Breyanna Chambliss finished in the top 10 in the long jump. Kirby's fourth place mark of 5.58 is good for ninth all time in school history. Chambliss finished in sixth place with a mark of 5.49
- Dahlia Barnes followed closely behind in the long jump with a mark of 5.08, 13th place in the event
- Eriana Teague placed eighth in the 400m hurdles (1:06.28)

- 4x400 relay (Beyonce Green, Lambert, Simpson, Teague) – 3rd (3:54.80)

Next Saturday, the Owls will make their third and final trip to the University of Miami for the Miami Alumni Invitational.
