#60 FAU Adjusts to Defeat Host UNC Wilmington

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team climbed seven spots in this week's ITA poll to No. 60, traveled to Wilmington, North Carolina, had their match moved up a day and came from behind to defeat UNC-Wilmington 4-3, on Wednesday.

FAU dropped doubles courts one and two surrendering the first point of the match and would see host UNCW build a 3-1 lead with three matches to play. FAU secured the final three matches of the day with wins by Nicholas Jadoun, Alvaro Fernandez Horta and Kevin Huempfner to clinch the match.

The Owls moved to 12-4 on the season with the win and will use Thursday to rest prior to their Friday match versus host and Conference USA member Old Dominion.
