FAU Takes Fifth Place at C-USA Championships

LYNCHBURG, Va. –  The FAU women's swimming & diving team wrapped up its season at the Conference USA Championships with day four on Saturday. As a team, the Owls finished in fifth place with 523 points.

In Saturday's final session, FAU freshmen Riley Trout and Roberta Circi went fifth-sixth in the 'A' finals of the 200 back. Trout touched the wall at 1:59.63 and Circi was right behind at 1:59.97.

Dolores Margni took fifth in the 200 fly 'A' final with a time of 2:01.13. Kirsty Hobson took 14th overall in the 200 back final and placed fifth in the 'B' final with a time of 2:03.31. Lauren Wright claimed 16th as she timed in at 2:06.62.

Highlighting FAU at the C-USA Championships was Alicia Mora, who set FAU records in both the 3-meter and 1-meter dive. Mora took the individual title in the 3-meter and has qualified for NCAA Diving Zone Championships.
