Divers Compete in NCAA Zones

ATLANTA – The Florida Atlantic University divers rounded out their season in the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships this week.

Alicia Mora qualified for the championship in the 3-meter dive and posted a score of 525.75. Mora qualified for the finals with a 287.50 score in the prelims. The junior from Madrid, Spain set FAU records in the Conference USA Championships. She is now the FAU record holder in the 3-meter (358.90) and 1-meter (317.55).

Competing in the 1-meter on the men's side was Michael Cannatelli and Brandon Shepherd, who dove to scores of 253.50 and 228.10, respectively. Cannatelli set the FAU record in the platform dive earlier this season (350.05).

Also competing in zones was Selina Staudenherz, who posted a score of 178.00 in prelims of the 1-meter.
