Gibson, Lunsford and Marinelli Added to Staff

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University football adds experienced position coaches to the 2022 staff, announced Hagerty Family Head Football Coach Willie Taggart on Friday.

Chad Lunsford, full bio HERE, comes to the Owls with head coaching experience while Derrick Gibson, full bio HERE, is an acclaimed South Florida high school coach, a former Florida State star and NFL player.

Shane Marinelli, an FAU graduate, has also been added to the staff. He will serve as the Director of High School Relations, full bio HERE.

"I'm happy that Chad, Derrick and Shane are joining us in Paradise," said Taggart. "Both bring tremendous and diverse experiences to our staff. We are excited to get to work next week with 'The Chase' followed by Spring Practice."
