Men’s & Women’s Swimming & Diving Receives CSCAA Scholar All-America Recognition

BOCA RATON, Fla. – After another semester of excellence in the classroom, the FAU swimming & diving teams have earned the prestigious College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America award for the fall 2021 semester.
In order to be named to CSCAA Scholar All-America honors, a team must be a CSCAA member and achieve a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0 for the semester. The Owls' women's team tallied a 3.49 GPA for the fall 2021 semester, while the men's team achieved a 3.21 GPA.
The women's team had 23 student-athletes with at least a 3.0 GPA, and 12 were named to the FAU Dean's List. Dominique Sauger achieved a 4.0 GPA and landed on the FAU President's List in addition to the Dean's List. The women's team ranked third among all FAU women's teams in fall 2021 GPA.
On the men's side, 16 Owls posted at least a 3.0 GPA and six earned spots on the FAU Dean's List. Peter Tanner, Jr. earned a 3.85 GPA to lead the squad this past fall.
The CSCAA has selected 728 teams from 450 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the fall 2021 semester.
