BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's cross country team is back in action, as the Owls race at the UCF Invitational at 6:30 p.m. The 5K race will take place around the UCF Softball Complex.

Last Time Out

Women

FAU's women team finished in 22nd place with 602 points at the FSU XC Open on Sept. 17. The team competed with the likes of BYU, Florida State, Clemson and Stanford
In her first race back from injury, Madlen Kappeler finished in 96th place with a time of 23:26.8
Casey O'Connor followed in 155th place in her first collegiate 6K race with a time of 24:28.7

Men

The men's team finished in 24th place with 746 points at the FSU XC Open
Preston Dunn finished in 157th place with a time of 27:26.1
Jericho Cooey delivered a 213th place showing with a time of 29:14.3

Upcoming

Both the men's and women's teams will compete at the FSU Pre-Nationals on Friday, Oct. 15 at 8 a.m. in Tallahassee, Florida.
