BOCA RATON, Fla. – FAUSports.com is proud to update our fans on the exploits of all of the former Owls who are lacing their cleats up each week in the NFL. Here's a rundown of how each performed during the third week of the 2021 NFL season (All gametimes listed below are Eastern):
Active Owls (6) #51 Azeez Al-Shaair | LB | San Francisco 49ers
- Al-Shaair continues to shine for San Francisco, setting a new career high and leading the squad Sunday night with 10 tackles – five solo, five assists. He had a QB hurry/pressure as well, while and was on the field defensively for all but three snaps (60 of 63, 95%). The Niners were topped at the horn by Green Bay, 30-28. 49ers' Record: 2-1 Next Game: vs. Seattle – Sunday, 4:05 p.m. (FOX)
#88 Harrison Bryant | TE | Cleveland Browns
- Bryant drew his first start of 2021. Though he did not haul in a catch, he was targeted twice, and also recorded the first tackle of his career, an assist on a third quarter punt return. That was on one of his 11 special teams snaps, to go along with 33 on offense. The Browns routed the Bears Sunday, 26-6. Browns' Record: 2-1 Next Game: at Minnesota (and Joseph) – Sunday, 1 p.m. (CBS)

Playing 72% of the team's defensive snaps on the D-line (60 of 83), he had four pressures on the day in total, and leads the NFL in that category with 19 heading into Week 4.
