BOCA RATON, Fla. – After splitting their first two matches on opening weekend, the Florida Atlantic University women's soccer team hosts Loyola Friday night, in their first match of the fall campaign on their home FAU Soccer Stadium field.

The Owls (1-1) topped Oakland in a home match at the football stadium last Thursday, 3-0, and suffered a 1-0 road loss on Sunday night to Miami.

Owls' Weekend in Preview
Loyola (2-0) has started their schedule off with wins over Miami of Ohio (2-1) and SIUE (3-0). Megan Nemec, 2020 Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year, picked up where she left off with two goals and an assist, earning MVC Offensive Player of the Week honors.

The Chicago-based Ramblers were voted by league coaches as favorites in the MVC and had four members earn Preseason All-MVC honors. This past spring, the team finished 8-2-1, won the MVC regular season and postseason titles (each for the third straight time), and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

This will be the first all-time meeting between the two schools.
