Neff, Fournand Hope To Continue Winning Momentum

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 95th-ranked Florida Atlantic University women's golf team will return to action on Monday at the Brickyard Collegiate, a two-day, 54-hole tournament in Macon, Georgia.
The Brickyard Collegiate's stacked field includes No. 31 UCF, No. 42 North Florida, No. 58 South Florida, No. 59 Mercer, No. 61 Furman, No. 68 Kennesaw State, No. 86 Chattanooga, No. 87 FGCU, No. 94 Middle Tennessee, Daytona State, Memphis, Troy and UAB.
Mercer is hosting the Brickyard Collegiate – FAU's final regular-season tournament – at the Brickyard Golf Club, a par 72, 6218-yard course.
The Owls will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. Live stats are available here.
"We are excited to compete in the Brickyard Collegiate!" FAU coach Aimee Neff said. "I have only heard good things about this tournament and course. Plus, it is fitting that we will be playing in the state of Georgia the same week The Masters is played. We have put in some really good work over the last few weeks in preparation for this event and grateful for another opportunity to compete. Go Owls!"
FAU hopes to recapture the dominance it showed in its last tournament, the Low Country Intercollegiate. The Owls won that tournament with sophomore Justine Fournand, the eventual Conference USA Golfer of the Week, earning medalist honors. Those wins were Neff's second as a coach and Fournand's second as an individual.
