BOCA RATON, Fla. – The regular season of the 2021 outdoor track & field slate for Florida Atlantic University will come to a close this week, as the team will compete at the North Florida Invitational. The meet opens up tomorrow, Thursday, and will close on Friday at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville.

- Francois continued on her trail of success, as she delivered a personal record in the 200 meter dash for the second straight meet, tallying a time of 24.49 for 11th place
- Macon led the distance crew in the 1500 meter run with 11th (4:45.66)
- Ameion Hamlet captured seventh in the triple jump (11.26 meters) on the second day of the meet
- In her first time competing in the 400 meter dash, Simpson notched the 10th best time in school history with a time of 56.34 for 14th place
- Lambert ran a fast 800 meters to capture sixth place and the third best time in school history (2:09.82)

The team will take a week off before competing at the 2021 Conference USA Indoor Track & Field Championships. This year's championships is set to occur from Thursday, May 13 to Sunday, May 16 at the Murphy Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
