BOCA RATON, Fla. – On Tuesday,
Filip Krolo of the Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team earned a slot on the six-man Conference USA All-Academic Team, as announced by the league.
Krolo is a sophomore and holds a 4.0 GPA in international business. He has received President's List recognition for his first two semesters at FAU, and has represented men's tennis on the FAU All-Academic Team for the past two semesters.
On the court this year for the Owls, he played in all 18 matches this year, all but one at No. 2 or No. 3 singles, and every match but two at No. 1 doubles. In doubles, he and
Maxime Lapraille have picked up a team-high five victories, including a win over the No. 36-ranked team in the country.
The Owls have the C-USA Championship next on their docket, with the team's quarterfinal matchup scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m., against Southern Miss.
