BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's soccer team opens their defense of two straight Conference USA regular season titles on Friday in the first of six consecutive Friday night C-USA matchups, traveling to take on Marshall at 7 p.m. in Huntington, West Virginia.

Owls' Weekend in Review
The FAU (1-2-1) defense, in front of C-USA Goalkeeper of the Week Cassidy Wasdin, posted its second straight clean sheet, and Miracle Porter's 78th minute goal was the difference maker in Sunday's 1-0 win over Miami.

Owls' Weekend in Preview
Marshall (1-1) split its two non-conference battles, winning over ETSU, 2-1 in overtime on Feb. 13, with Lauren Hollis chosen as C-USA Defender of the Week in that effort. Last time out, they were topped this past Sunday by Dayton, 1-0. The Thundering Herd was 4-14 in 2019, 2-8 in C-USA play, and were voted fifth in the league's East Division by member coaches this preseason.
