BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's soccer team opens their defense of two straight Conference USA regular season titles on Friday in the first of six consecutive Friday night C-USA matchups, traveling to take on Marshall at 7 p.m. in Huntington, West Virginia.

Owls' Weekend in Preview
Marshall (1-1) split its two non-conference battles, winning over ETSU, 2-1 in overtime on Feb. 13, with Lauren Hollis chosen as C-USA Defender of the Week in that effort. Last time out, they were topped this past Sunday by Dayton, 1-0. The Thundering Herd was 4-14 in 2019, 2-8 in C-USA play, and were voted fifth in the league's East Division by member coaches this preseason.

The Owls hold a 6-0 all-time series lead, outscoring Marshall 14-3 in those contests, including a 4-0 victory in 2019 in Boca Raton, on Sept. 19. Last time the squads met in Huntington, FAU won 2-1 on Sept. 14, 2018.
