Owls' Weekend in Review
FAU (2-3-2, 1-1-1 Conference USA) was overcome on the road last Friday, by Old Dominion, 2-0. The Owls had been undefeated in their previous seven C-USA matches, stretching back to Oct. 4, 2019, or 532 days.

Owls' Weekend in Preview
Charlotte (3-3-0, 3-0-0 C-USA) has overcome a winless pre-league season to win their first three conference matches. After topping Old Dominion and Middle Tennessee, last week, the 49ers upended FIU, 3-1. Michaella Arteta and Julia Patrum share the team lead with three goals apiece. Patrum was voted Preseason All-C-USA by the league coaches, while the 49ers were forecasted second in the C-USA East.
Â
Opponent History
The Owls hold the advantage in the all-time series against CLT, 3-2-1. A double-overtime, 4-3 win in the 2019 C-USA Championship semifinal round broke the series stalemate. The last time the two teams met in the regular season was in Charlotte in 2017, a 3-2 49ers' victory. In Boca Raton, it's 1-0-1 in favor of the Owls.
