BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's soccer team faces off against another Conference USA foe for another Friday night battle, taking on Old Dominion in Norfolk, Virginia, at 7 p.m.

Owls' Weekend in Review
FAU (2-2-2, 1-0-1 C-USA) fought to a draw in their home league opener last Friday, 1-1 against WKU in double overtime. Miracle Porter had the equalizer, off Ashley Grisley's first career assist. Over the team's last 400 minutes – which includes the first two C-USA results – the Owls' defense has only allowed two opposing goals.

Owls' Weekend in Preview
ODU (2-4-1, 1-2-0 C-USA) picked up their first conference victory of the season last week, 2-0 over FIU, after going 0-4-1 in their previous five matches. The Monarchs were 10-4-4 in 2019, and 4-4-2 in league play, with their 14 points just two shy of qualifying for the C-USA Championship.

The Monarchs lead the all-time series, 3-1-3, with the last two contests ending in a draw, including a 1-1 stalemate in Norfolk in 2019. The only FAU win came in 2017 in Boca Raton, 1-0, snapping ODU's three-match winning streak in the series.
