– The Florida Atlantic University women's soccer team travels to WKU for the penultimate regular season match on Friday night. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. Eastern.
Owls' Friday in Review
FAU is fresh off a clutch 3-2 double overtime victory last time out over Marshall. The Owls were trailing by one with less than a minute remaining, but did not give in and tied it by way of a
Miracle Porter goal. Porter's fourth tally of the year iced the game with only 25 seconds remaining in regulation.

Mia Sennes in the middle of the field. Sennes had a few steps on her defender and took it all the way to give FAU the dramatic win. The Owls have now gained six C-USA points in the last two games via clutch last-minute goals.
Owls' Friday in Preview
WKU is looking to bounce back after a 2-0 defeat to UTEP in its last game. The Hilltoppers are second in the C-USA East standings heading into this weekend's action. Defense has been a strong point for WKU this year with only 10 goals allowed on the campaign to rank third in the conference.
Sights on the Postseason
There are key conference tournament seeding implications on the line in Friday's match. FAU stands in fourth place in the C-USA East standings with two games left to play. The Owls, who have 10Â points, are one point behind Middle Tennessee. Old Dominion is in first with 16 points, while WKU is right on the Monarchs' heels in second with 15 points. All five tourney spots in the C-USA East are clinched, with Charlotte standing as the fifth seed currently.
Opponent History
WKU holds the upper hand in this series, as the Hilltoppers are 6-3-3 against the Owls all-time. The last meeting came in the spring 2021 season, which resulted in a 1-1 tie. Porter tallied the equalizer in the 71

The Owls will conclude the regular season on Oct. 28, when they face Old Dominion at 7:00 p.m. That will also be FAU's Senior Night, which will be held pregame at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Conference USA Tournament on the Horizon
FAU will serve as the host for the 2021 Conference USA Women's Soccer Championship. The tournament is scheduled to begin on Nov. 1 with the championship match to be held on Nov. 7.
