Owl Nation, Your FAU Football Fix is Around the Corner

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Fans of Florida Atlantic University's football team will have their first opportunity to hear Owls' head coach Willie Taggart's take on the 2020 season this Monday, Sept. 7 and every Monday thereafter from 6-7 p.m. on Fox Sports 640 AM South Florida.
Coach Taggart will be joined each week by two players and host Ken LaVicka. The hour-long broadcast will originate from FAU's Boca Raton campus.
Additionally, "Inside the Owls' Burrow" will make its return on Fox Sports Florida next Thursday, Sept. 10, with long-time South Florida television and radio personality Frank Forte serving as host. The show will feature reviews, previews and a special segment called "Pads Off," which is a behind-the-scenes look at FAU football and its players. Catch "Inside the Owls' Burrow" on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. (in subsequent weeks, the show will air at 6 p.m.), or when it re-airs on Fridays at 9:30 a.m. and Saturdays at 11 a.m.
Full game coverage can also be followed on Fox Sports 640 AM South Florida, which is a part of the Hubbard Radio cluster of 97.9 WRMF, 103.1 WIRK, X102.3, News-Talk 850 WFTL, Sunny 107.9 and Beatz 96.3. Ken LaVicka will have the call, FAU football alum Kris Bartels will provide the analysis, and Mike Mreczko will host the pre- and post-game coverage.
Sideline Celebrations
- Speed play began Friday's practice, with wide receiver Aaron Young stealing the show with a 35-yard plus catch
- FAU then moved into situational team sessions with multiple officials, followed by individual work/special teams
- Practice ended with junior cornerback Teja Young hauling in an interceptio
