Five Owls Capture Personal Records at South Carolina Invitational

COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Florida Atlantic University women's track & field team completed the first of two days at the South Carolina Invitational. Five different Owls marked new personal records on the day.

In the 1-mile, Mikaela Jonsson took 16th (5:13.81) and Jordan Stevens followed in 23rd with a huge personal record of 5:17.64
Cara Simpson finished 17th in the long jump at 5.23m. Kailiece Harris tallied 38th in the event with a personal record (4.69m)
Reneé Shaw captured 19th in the 60m hurdle preliminaries (9:19)
Roshelle Francois finished 20th in the 400m dash with a time of 56.80. Anne-Catherine Wasser followed in 25th (57.13)
Cara Simpson captured a personal record in the 60m preliminaries with a time of 7.82
