BOCA RATON, Fla. – FAUSports.com is proud to update our fans on the exploits of all of the former Owls who are lacing their cleats up each week in the NFL. Here's a rundown of how each performed during the eighth week of the 2020 NFL season:

Active Owls (12) #51 Azeez Al-Shaair | LB | San Francisco 49ers
- Al-Shaair, for the second straight week, notched a season high of defensive snaps, playing 34 at linebacker (50%) plus 17 more on special teams (59%). He had a solo tackle of Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson in the 49ers' 37-27 loss to the Seahawks. 49ers' Record: 4-4 Next game: vs. Green Bay – Tonight (Thursday Night Football), 8:20 p.m. (FOX/NFL Network)
#74 Brandin Bryant | DT | Buffalo Bills
- Bryant was elevated to the Bills' active roster on Saturday ahead of their Sunday win over New England, 24-21. He combined on a stop of Cam Newton among seven defensive snaps in his 2020 debut. Bills' record: 6-2 Next game: vs. Seattle – Sunday, 1 p.m. (FOX)
#88 Harrison Bryant | TE | Cleveland Browns
- Making his second straight start, and fourth of the year, Bryant caught all three of the passes that he was targeted for, for 25 yards. He recorded a career-high in snaps, percentage-wise, of 80% (39 of 49) on the offensive side of the ball, and another seven snaps on special teams. The Browns fell to the Raiders, 16-6. Browns' record: 5-3 Next game: After this weekend's scheduled bye week, the Browns will next play Nov. 15 vs. Houston
#93 Trevon Coley | DT | Arizona Cardinals
- The Cardinals were on their bye week. Coley is currently back on the team's practice squad but has been brought up to the main roster ahead of each of Arizona's last two games. Cardinals' record: 5-2 Next game: vs. Miami – Sunday, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)
#91 Trey Hendrickson | DE | New Orleans Saints
- Hendrickson had a crucial third down sack of the Bears' Nick Foles in overtime, giving the Saints possession and leading directly to the game-winning field goal (for a 26-23 win). He ranks tied for 11th in the league with 5.5 sacks, which is fifth among defensive linemen. Saints' record: 5-2 Next game: at Tampa Bay – Sunday Night Football, 8:20 p.m. (NBC)
#38 Buddy Howell | RB | Houston Texans
- The Texans had their scheduled bye week. Texans' record: 1-6 Next game: at Jacksonville – Sunday, 1 p.m. (CBS)
#34 Cre'von LeBlanc | CB | Philadelphia Eagles
- LeBlanc was inactive due to injury Sunday, as the Eagles defeated Dallas, 23-9. Eagles' record: 3-4-1 Next game: The first place Eagles have a bye week and return to play the Giants on Nov. 15
#41 Alfred Morris | RB | New York Giants
- On Monday, ahead of that night's game with Tampa Bay, Morris was elevated to the active roster. In his first appearance since Oct. 31, 2019 – with Arizona – the ninth-year back had eight carries for 28 yards, with a long of 11, and gained two first downs. The Giants were edged out by the Bucs, 25-23. He is currently back on their practice squad, as a protected member, ahead of Sunday. Giants' record: 1-7 Next game: at Washington – Sunday, 1 p.m. (FOX)
#41 Sharrod Neasman | S | Atlanta Falcons
- Neasman appeared on defense for one snap, and 70% of the Falcons' special teams (16 more), in a 25-17 win over Carolina. Falcons' record: 2-6 Next game: vs. Denver – Sunday, 1 p.m. (CBS)
#42 James Pierre | DB | Pittsburgh Steelers
- Pierre was on the field for exactly 50% of Pittsburgh's special teams snaps Sunday. With a 28-24 win over Baltimore, the Steelers are still undefeated. Steelers' record: 7-0 Next game: at Dallas – Sunday, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)
#26 Devin Singletary | RB | Buffalo Bills
- Singletary set a season high in rushing yardage, with 86 on 14 carries, or 6.1 per tote (with a yards-after-contact average of 4.0). He also recorded five first downs, and caught one pass for six yards, as Buffalo topped New England, 24-21. Bills' record: 6-2 Next game: vs. Seattle – Sunday, 1 p.m. (FOX)
#57 Adarius Taylor | LB | Carolina Panthers
- On a combined 27 snaps – 13 at linebacker and 14 on special teams – Taylor had both of his tackles defensively, one solo and one tackle assist. The Panthers were beaten by Atlanta, 25-17. Panthers' record: 3-5 Next game: at Kansas City – Sunday, 1 p.m. (FOX)
