Westbrook Tabbed C-USA Swimmer of the Week

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Fatimah Westbrook of the Florida Atlantic University swimming & diving team has been honored as the Conference USA Swimmer of the Week, as announced by the league Wednesday. This is the first honor of its kind for Westbrook this season, second in her career.

Westbrook was unstoppable at the FAU Fun Invitational, capturing three first place finishes. The senior tallied top individual finishes in the 50 breast (30.07) and 50 free (24.31), as well as helped her 300 free relay team record first place with a time of 2:37.00. The FAU Fun Invitational is an annual event that consists of several unique events. North Texas and Old Dominion were present at the meet on the women's side.

FAU men's and women's swimming & diving will take on SUNY Geneseo this Saturday at 11 a.m. Saturday's meet will also serve as the Owls' Senior Day, where FAU will be honoring 10 graduating seniors.
