FORT WORTH, Texas – The Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team kicked off play at ITA Kick-off Weekend against the host and bracket's top seed, TCU. The No. 8 Horned Frogs (2-0) advanced to the championship, while the Owls (2-4) will finish play in Texas on Sunday against Notre Dame in the consolation match.

Notables:

TCU won doubles matches on Court No. 1 and No. 2 for the early lead. The unfinished No. 3 match saw Alvaro Fernandez Horta and Gerard Escandell trail by just a point, 4-3
