BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swimming & diving team will host SUNY Geneseo on Saturday at 11 a.m. The meet will also serve as the Owls' Senior Day, as the team will honor its 10 seniors prior to the meet. Admission is free.

Recap at FAU Fun Invite

The men's and women's team had a successful showing at the annual FAU Fun Invite to cap off 2019 and the decade. On the women's side, the swimmers and divers totaled eight top individual finishes on the day, facing Conference USA opponents North Texas and Old Dominion. Fatimah Westbrook tallied first place titles in the 50 breast (30.07) and 50 free (24.53), as well as helped the 300 free relay team capture a top finish. For her solid performance, Westbrook was named C-USA Swimmer of the Week for the first time this season and second time in her career. On the boards, Alicia Mora swept in the 1- and 3-meter with Taylor Downs following her in second.

The men's team tallied 11 first-place finishes along with three sweeps coming in the 200 free, 100 back and 500 free. Kyle Douglas led the Owl men with three first place showings. Douglas tied for first with Reilly Maguire in the 50 back (24.80) along with displaying top times in the 100 IM reverse (53.08) and 100 back. Logan Downey took first place in the 1- and 3-meter dives, while Charlie Greene followed him in second on both.

The women's team will hit their home pool for the final times this season next Friday, as Florida Gulf Coast comes to town. The meet is set for 3:30 p.m. at FAU Aquatic Center with free admission to all fans.
