BOCA RATON, Fla. – Natalliah Whyte and Anne-Catherine Wasser of the Florida Atlantic University track and field team will gear up to race in this week's NCAA East Regionals in Jacksonville, Florida. Both runners will compete on Thursday in preliminary rounds with Whyte in the 100 meter dash and Wasser in the 400 meter hurdles.

 THE FIELD
Whyte will be competing in the second heat during the prelims. She'll race against runners from Virginia, Alabama, Kentucky, Ohio State, Jacksonville, South Carolina and North Carolina A&T in that group. Whyte's top time in the 100 meter was 11.17. That ranks sixth out of the field. The top time came from Kayla White of North Carolina A&T at 10.96.

Wasser will be running in the fourth heat during prelims. She'll compete against runners from Miami, Ohio, Clemson, Duke, Mississippi State, UAB and Maryland in that group. Wasser's top time in the 400 meter hurdles came at the Conference USA Championship where she recorded a time of 59.53. The top time in the East is 56.77 from Jurnee Woodward of LSU. Â Â
