The Florida Atlantic University football team celebrated the end of spring with what has become an Owl tradition, a steak and hot dog lunch. The Spring Game winners were treated to steak, while the losers ate hot dogs and beans.

Defensive analyst Monte Kiffin was voted by the team to serve as the Spring Game Red Team head coach and the elder Kiffin led his squad to the 17-16 victory over the Grey team, which elected defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer as its head coach.

The event, held on the FAU Stadium Delray Hyundai Deck, also was an opportunity to honor FAU football's spring season honorees.

- Defensive Coordinator Glenn Spencer presented the Most Improved Defensive awards to: Armani Adams, William Davis, James Pierre, Chris Tooley and Hosea Barnwell V
- Running Backs Coach Kevin Smith presented the Offensive Spring Game MVP to John Mitchell and Harrison Bryant
- Defensive Line Coach Lance Thompson presented the Defensive Spring Game MVP to Armani Adams and "Kiki" Akileis  Leroy
- Offensive and Defensive Position Coaches presented their respective position Top Guy honors to:
