Florida Atlantic University's football team has agreed to a home-and-home contest with the Ohio University Bobcats.

The two teams will first play in Athens, Ohio on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022 and will then play in Boca Raton on Saturday, Sept 9, 2023.

Previously, the Owls have played three contests versus teams from the state of Ohio. FAU met Youngstown in 2002 and in 2003. The Owls lost at home in 2002, the second year of the program's existence and won in Youngstown in 2003. The Owls had a historic victory over Akron in the 2017 CherriBundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl in 2017. FAU holds a 2-1 all-time mark against Ohio teams.

The Owls will open the 2019 campaign at The Ohio State University, Saturday, Aug. 31. Tickets for the 2019 season are on sale and can be purchased by calling 1-866-FAU-Owls. All games can be heard on ESPN West Palm 106.3 or via the ESPN App.
