BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team will look to increase its winning streak to three when the Owls face Southern Miss on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.

- FAU lead by as many as eight in the second half, before the Bulldogs pulled to within one with three minutes left. However, the Owls scored the next seven points to help clinch the win.
- Karlis Silins recorded a double-double (14 points, 10 rebounds) while Xavian Stapleton had a game high 19 points. Anthony Adger scored all 14 of his points in the second half, while Michael Forrest added 11. With the win, the Owls surpassed last season's win total.
