BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University Owls continued preparation for the 2019 Cheribundi Boca Raton Bowl with a traditional Tuesday practice. Something else that is becoming traditional is a practice report featuring a Harrison Bryant honor.
On Tuesday morning, Bryant earned First Team All-America recognition by Sporting News. The NCAA officially recognizes five organizations to determine "consensus All-Americans," and this nod – the third of five for Bryant following Walter Camp and the AP – makes him the first consensus All-American in FAU program history. Announcements are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday for the two official outlets remaining, the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), respectively. First Team honors by both of those would make him a unanimous All-American.
