Owls Travel to Florida Gulf Coast

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team will make the trip across the state to play Florida Gulf Coast on Wednesday night. Â Â

Last Time Out: The Owls defeated Palm Beach Atlantic 84-79 on Saturday night. Aleksandar Zecevic scored a career-high 16 points in the victory. He became the fourth different player to lead FAU in scoring this season. Â

About Florida Gulf Coast: The Eagles are winless through four games. They lost 84-68 at Mercer in their most recent game on Friday. Sophomore guard Zach Scott led FGCU in that game with 18 points, and  also leads the team in scoring on the year, averaging 16.8 points per outing.

History: FAU took a 3-2 lead in the all-time series with an 85-68 victory last season in Boca Raton. Jailyn Ingram had 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Owls.
