TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University swimming and diving faced off against the Florida State Seminoles in a dual-meet on Saturday in Tallahassee. The Owl men and women both came up short, with the men falling 100-191 and the women getting edged out 97-193, but there were many individual finishes to celebrate.

Notables:
Women
- Another meet means another first-place finish for Spence Atkins in the 200-yard butterfly, who finished with a time of 2:02.72. Atkins also captured second in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.10) and 500-yard freestyle (5:05.15)
- Fatimah Westbrook took another top-3 finish in the 100-yard breaststroke on the season, claiming third in the event (1:04.91)
- Sarah Martin and Kelsey Witkay touched the wall second and third, respectively in the 100-yard freestyle
- Abby Marshall touched the wall second in the 100-yard backstroke (57.64). Marshall would later claim second in the 200-yard backstroke (2:06.47) and would be followed by Miranda Fellowes in third (2:09.78)
- In the 200-yard breaststroke, Ana Neff-Jendrasko finished second and Shae Clifton followed in third
- Danica Garbett captured second in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:08.97
- On the boards, Malvina Catalano claimed third place in the 1-meter (260.85) and 3-meter events (262.58)
Men
- The men kicked off individual events with a sweep in the 1000-yard freestyle. Josh Fountain finished first (9:37.56) followed by Will Smith (9:38.14) and Jack Shapiro (9:53.22) who claimed second and third, respectively. Smith would later claim second in the 500-yard freestyle (4:43.16)
- Phillip Crouch III took a third-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 58.73. Crouch would later claim second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:11.28) with Braxton Conners following him in third (2:15.24)
- Michael Rahrig came in third in the 200-yard butterfly (1:55.13)
- Connor Smoak finished second in the 100-yard freestyle (48.45), who was followed by Colin Kozak in third (49.30)
- Alex Taber captured second in the 200-yard backstroke and Braedan Leach came in third
- Calvin Lillo took second in the 200-yard IM (1:57.65)
- Logan Downey took third in the 1-meter (243.60) with Michael Cannatelli following him in fourth (226.95)

What's Next:
The women's swimming and diving team will be taking on FIU next Saturday at 11 a.m. This will be the final time to catch the FAU women at FAU Aquatic Center this season before they head off to the Conference USA Swimming and Diving Championships.
