BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University women's swimming and diving will receive a visit from the women of FIU on Saturday for the final home meet at FAU Aquatics Center this season. The dual-meet will begin an hour earlier than scheduled at 10 a.m. due to weather, and admission is free to the public. This will be one of the last meets to prepare for the Conference USA Swimming and Diving Championships, which will be held in Atlanta at the end of the month.
Meet Format:
- 200 Medley Relay
- 1000 Freestyle
- 200 Freestyle
- 50 Freestyle
- 400 IM
- Diving: 1-meter
- 100 Butterfly
- 100 Freestyle
- 100 Backstroke
- 500 Freestyle
- Diving: 3-meter
- 100 Breaststroke
- 200 Freestyle Relay
Last Time Against the Panthers:
FIU had the edge over the Owls 179-118 last season and has an overall 8-4 record in the dual meet series.
Spence Atkins led the meet last season with two first-place finishes in the 1000 freestyle and 400 IM. There were several other top finishes for the Owls with
Danica Garbett claiming first in the 200 butterfly,
Abby Marshall taking first in the 100 backstroke and second in the 50 freestyle, as well as
Melanie Doan touching the wall first in the 100 freestyle.

The divers will have one last chance to compete before their conference championships next Friday, Feb. 8. They will be facing the divers of FIU and Florida Gulf Coast at 1 p.m. at the Coral Springs Aquatic Center.
