CHICAGO, Ill. - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team won their second tournament in a row with a sweep of DePaul (25-19, 25-17, 25-19) at the DePaul Invitational on Saturday. The Owls are now 6-3 on the season.

FAU built an early 7-3 lead before the Blue Demons rallied to tie the score at 8-8. The two teams battled back and forth for much of the frame and the score was tied for at 19 when the Owls scored the final six points to take the set.
Alex Cardona's serving was the catalyst for a 9-3 FAU lead in set number two and FAU was able to maintain control the rest of the way to take a 2-0 advantage. The roles were reversed in the third set, with DePaul getting out to a 6-2 edge. However, the Owls used an 11-3 run to pull ahead, 13-9. Ivone Martinez service ace completed the FAU sweep.
