BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic Volleyball announces its 2026 season schedule on Monday, highlighted by 14 regular-season home matches, including two tournaments at Abessinio Court at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena. The Owls' 2026 schedule also features 16 American Conference regular-season matchups.
Before opening the 2026 season, the Owls will compete in their annual Red vs. Blue match on Thursday, Aug. 13, before hosting Miami Dade on Sunday, Aug. 16, for their first preseason exhibition contest. The Owls will then visit the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday, Aug. 22, to close out preseason play
The regular season will kick off in Paradise as the Owls host Merrimack, Stetson, and FIU in the Florida Atlantic Invitational on Aug. 28-29.
Florida Atlantic will hit the road for the first time in 2026 when they travel to Fort Myers, Florida, for the FGCU Invitational, taking on host FGCU and West Virginia on Sept. 3-4.
The Owls continue their road trip at the Florida Invite in Gainesville, Florida, facing off against host Florida and Troy on Sept. 11-12, before closing out their non-conference neutral site battle against Dayton on Sept. 13 in Tampa.
FAU wraps non-conference play with its Owls Paradise Classic, hosting Alabama State and Stetson on Sept. 18-19.
Florida Atlantic will begin its American Conference schedule on the road, heading to the Lone Star State for a pair of contests against North Texas on Sept. 25 and UTSA on Sept. 27.
The Owls will kick off October with their first American Conference homestand, welcoming Temple on Oct. 2 and Rice on Oct. 4.
FAU will then head back on the road for a pair of road contests, beginning in Philadelphia against Temple on Oct. 9, followed by East Carolina on Oct. 11 in Greenville, N.C.
The Owls return to Paradise for another two-game homestand, taking on Tulane and Charlotte on Oct. 16 and 18, respectively.
Florida Atlantic will close out October and open November on the road, visiting Tulsa on Oct. 30, before heading to Wichita, Kansas, to take on Wichita State on Nov. 1.
FAU will wrap up its home schedule with a three-game homestand, hosting South Florida on Nov. 4 and UAB on Nov. 6, before taking on East Carolina for senior day on Nov. 13. The Owls then visit Charlotte for their regular-season finale on Nov. 15.
The 2026 American Conference Tournament, hosted by Rice, will be held November 20-22 at Tudor Fieldhouse in Houston, Texas. The 2026 NCAA season will conclude with the NCAA Tournament national championship on Dec. 20 in San Antonio, Texas.
