Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Hit Pool For First Meets of 2018-19

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swimming and diving commences the 2018-19 campaign with two meets in the next three days: Thursday at home, and traveling to Jacksonville for a Saturday road contest.
Owls' Week in Preview
First up for the squad, at 3 p.m. Thursday, is a home competition vs. Florida at the FAU Aquatic Center. The Gator men's and women's swimmers both qualified for last year's NCAA Championships, with the men placing fifth overall at the conclusion of the four-day meet.
On Saturday, the women will take part in a tri-meet (against North Florida and Gardner-Webb), while for the men, it will be a dual against GWU only. UNF will host the meet, beginning at 1 p.m. Both squads, like the FAU men, are fellow members of the CCSA. At last spring's postseason conference championship, Gardner-Webb was third on both sides, while the UNF women placed eighth.

A two-day meet is next for the Owl men and women, just down the road in Miami, for the FIU Fall Classic, Oct. 5-6.
